This Download Policy outlines the rules, limits, and licensing terms governing the download and use of stock photos and videos from Gluox via our website (gluox.com) and the Gluox Android application.

1. Account Tiers & Download Access

Access to stock assets depends on your account type:

  • Free Users: Eligible to download designated free-tier photos and videos. Downloads may be subject to daily or monthly limits, resolution caps, or watermarking where specified.

  • Premium Subscribers: Active subscribers to Gluox premium plans receive expanded or unlimited access to high-resolution, watermark-free photos and videos.

  • Platform Availability:

    • Desktop Browser (gluox.com): Direct full-resolution asset downloads, batch downloads, and format selection.

    • Android App: Direct-to-device downloads optimized for mobile storage and local media library access.

2. Grant of License

When you download a stock photo or video from Gluox, you are not purchasing the copyright. You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the asset under the following terms:

Permitted Uses:

  • Personal, educational, and non-commercial creative projects.

  • Commercial marketing materials, websites, social media posts, advertising, and editorial content (subject to your active subscription tier).

  • Modifying, cropping, editing, or combining the asset with other creative works.

Restricted & Prohibited Uses:

  • No Reselling or Redistribution: You may not resell, redistribute, sub-license, package, or make available any raw, unmodified photo or video file on any other stock platform, gallery, or peer-to-peer network.

  • No Standalone Value Exploitation: You may not use assets as the primary standalone value on physical merchandise for sale (e.g., printing a raw Gluox photo onto posters, t-shirts, or mugs without substantial modification).

  • No Defamatory or Unlawful Use: Assets may not be used in connection with illegal, defamatory, pornographic, hateful, or fraudulent material.

  • No Trademark / Logo Integration: You may not incorporate stock assets directly into registered trademarks, official logos, or brand marks.

3. Fair Use & Automated Downloading

To protect the platform infrastructure and the intellectual property of contributing creators:

  • No Scraping or Bots: Automated downloading, scraping, spidering, or bulk extraction using bots, extensions, or unapproved scripts is strictly prohibited.

  • Account Sharing: Subscriptions are single-user accounts. Sharing credentials to enable bulk downloading by third parties or organizations without an enterprise license violates this policy.

  • Fair Use Caps: We reserve the right to throttle or temporarily restrict download bandwidth if abnormal, non-human, or abusive download spikes are detected on an individual account.

4. Technical Requirements & Local Storage

  • Mobile Storage (Android App): The Gluox app saves media directly to your device's local storage (in the Gluox directory). You are responsible for ensuring sufficient available disk space prior to initiating video or bulk photo downloads.

  • Corrupted or Incomplete Files: If a download fails or yields a corrupted file due to network disruption, you may re-download the asset from your account download history without consuming additional subscription credits.

5. Termination & License Invalidation

Gluox reserves the right to suspend accounts, cancel subscriptions, and terminate download privileges without refund if:

  • You violate any restrictions listed in this policy or our Terms of Service.

  • Chargebacks or payment disputes occur on an active subscription.

  • Assets are utilized in unauthorized commercial exploitation or trademark infringement.
