This Privacy Policy explains how Gluox ("we," "our," or "us") collects, uses, protects, and discloses personal information when you visit or subscribe on our website at gluox.com (the "Website") and when you use our mobile application Gluox available on Google Play (the "App").
By accessing or using our Website or App, you consent to the information practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information directly from you, automatically when you navigate our services, and through payment processors:
- Account & Profile Data: When you create an account or sign in on the Website or App, we collect your name/username, email address, password hash, and profile identifiers.
- Subscription & Payment Information: When you purchase a subscription on the Website to access premium content, our third-party payment processors (e.g., Stripe, PayPal) collect necessary billing details (such as payment card details, billing address, and transaction history). Gluox does not store your full payment card numbers on our servers.
- Search and Usage Activity: We collect search queries (keywords searched for stock photos and stock videos), download history, asset view logs, and account preference settings.
- Device and Technical Data: When you access the Website via desktop browsers or use the App on your mobile device, we collect technical information including IP address, device type, operating system and version, unique device identifiers, browser type, language settings, and diagnostic/crash data.
- Device Storage & Media Access (Mobile App Specific):
- The Gluox Android app requests permission to access device storage solely to download and save chosen stock photos and videos to your mobile device.
- We do not access, scan, read, upload, or collect your personal photos, videos, or files already stored on your device.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your data to provide, maintain, and enhance our services, specifically to:
- Authenticate your identity and sync your account state across both desktop browsers and the Android app.
- Verify active subscription status and grant desktop browser access to premium stock media downloads.
- Enable search, filtering, previews, and direct mobile downloads of stock assets.
- Process payment transactions, prevent billing fraud, and manage subscription renewals.
- Monitor performance, fix crashes, analyze usage trends, and improve search algorithms.
- Provide customer support and send service-related notices (e.g., password resets, receipt confirmations, policy updates).
3. Sharing of Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties. We disclose data only in the following contexts:
- Service Providers & Processors: Trusted vendors who perform tasks on our behalf, including payment processing, cloud hosting/storage (e.g., AWS, Cloudflare), content delivery networks (CDNs), and crash diagnostics (e.g., Firebase Crashlytics).
- Compliance & Legal Obligations: When required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or to protect the property, safety, and rights of Gluox, our users, or the public.
- Business Transfers: In connection with any merger, sale of company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or part of our business.
4. Cookies and Web Technologies (Website)
Our Website uses session cookies and similar tracking technologies to keep you logged in, remember your preferences, and maintain active checkout sessions. You can configure your browser to reject cookies, though some features (such as staying signed in) may not function properly.
5. Data Security
We implement standard administrative and technical security measures, including Transport Layer Security (HTTPS/TLS) encryption for all data transmitted between your device and our servers. While we take strong precautions to safeguard your data, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.
6. Data Retention and Account Deletion
We retain personal information for as long as your account remains active or as needed to maintain your licensing history and fulfill legal obligations.
In compliance with Google Play and global data protection standards, you have the right to request the complete deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time:
- Web Deletion Request: Visit our dedicated deletion portal at https://gluox.com/account/delete

7. Children's Privacy
Neither our Website nor our Android App is intended for children under 13 years of age (or under 16 in the EEA). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you become aware that a minor has registered without parental consent, please contact us immediately to remove the data.
